You have taken a lifetime to get to where you are today. I too have taken a lifetime, my own journey of truth and discovery, to find proven healing modalities to mesh together so I can offer you the Mindful Coherence Method (MindCo) route to healing. I have taken into account your individual needs and, by you beginning this journey with me, I hope to facilitate you on a journey of self-awareness and compassionate control of both your life and your well-being. Taking that first step into a therapist’s room is the hardest one you will take. I offer a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore with true awareness just who you are, to find your wholeness but also your individuality.

What is therapy?

It can be confusing when you are choosing a therapist, there are many now available online. The most important factor when we work together will be the creation of a strong professional relationship based on compassion, empathy and non-judgment on my part and you liking and trusting me on your part.

At many different times of a person’s life it may be appropriate to seek counselling. It can be to find a relatively quick solution to an impending problem that may mean only a few sessions or, it may be a deeper process of self-discovery stretching over a longer period and delving more deeply into the past. Either way the relationship between client and therapist is paramount in the success of the therapeutic sessions you embark on.


Online Appointments

If this is your first session in a therapeutic setting with Amanda then the intention is to get to know you and help you understand how the Mindful Coherence Method can help you. It is likely, that if you decide you would like to, and Amanda thinks she can contribute to your healing process, she will suggest a further five sessions with a review in the sixth so that you can do the work together on the path of uncovering, discovering and recovering via the Mindful Coherence Method, a combination of ancient healing techniques blended with other psychological therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Your Sessions with Amanda

    Book Session

    Schedule an appointment on our website and get an email confirmation with a Zoom video meet time or, alternative arrangements if Zoom is not possible (WhatsApp or phone)

    Uncover

    Amanda opens the 50-minute session with you and you begin to explore the Mindful Coherence Method of therapy (MindCo). You and Amanda will have the session and begin the process of connection and uncovering.

    Discover

    At this first session Amanda will help you to begin to discover your deep inherent capabilities for healing, getting to know YOU and the therapeutic modalities that may be suitable for developing a healing and discovery plan together.

    Recover

    Amanda provides this 3-step therapeutic technique to assist you in uncovering the power of your innate mechanism/s within your holistic body. It is likely that this session will be the prep work to set of six working sessions using the MindCo Method.  Between us, I will host this empowering space with gentleness to support inquiry into your feelings, emotions and behavioural reactions.

Terms

  • Payment is required at the time of booking through our booking platform. 
  • Appointments are made to reserve a specific time for you. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. The full fee will be charged for appointments that are missed, cancelled or rescheduled without 24 hours notice. 
  • If, in an emergency, Amanda has to cancel an appointment then your appointment will be re-scheduled (as a priority) as soon as possible.
