Live webinars for parents who want practical support before family life reaches crisis point

These are not prerecorded lessons. They are live sessions with me, designed to help parents understand adolescence more clearly, ask real questions and begin to respond differently at home.

Why join a live webinar

Many parents do not need to begin with private therapy.

Sometimes they need a clear place to start.

They need to understand why their adolescent is changing. They need language for what is happening. They need practical ways to respond when conversations become arguments, when screens take over, when independence feels frightening, or when their own emotional reserves are running low.

The webinars are designed to offer this kind of support.

They are live, practical and rooted in more than 30 years of therapeutic experience with adolescents and families.

Who these webinars are for

These webinars may be helpful if you are a parent or carer who feels unsure how to respond to your adolescent right now.

They are especially suited to parents navigating arguments, silence, anxiety, screen battles, school concerns, emotional overwhelm, independence, family tension or the feeling that something has shifted in the relationship and you do not quite know how to reach your child anymore.

Parenting Adolescents Series

Six one hour webinars. Each session can be booked individually, or taken as part of the full series.

A short note from Amanda

I created these webinars because I meet so many parents who feel they have reached a point where nothing they say seems to work anymore.

The aim is not to give you perfect parenting scripts. The aim is to help you understand what may be happening beneath the behaviour, and to give you practical ways to respond with more clarity and less panic.

These sessions are live, because I believe parents need real conversation, not just more information.

If this sounds like the kind of support you need, I would be very pleased to welcome you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can I not book the Parenting Adolescents Series webinars yet?

The six webinars in the Parenting Adolescents Series are coming in 2027. Until dates are confirmed, each webinar page lets you register your interest instead of booking a place outright. This means you can let us know you would like to attend, and you will be among the first to hear as soon as booking opens.

Do I need to attend all six webinars, or can I book individually?

Each session in the Parenting Adolescents Series can be booked individually, or taken as part of the full series, whichever suits your situation. You are welcome to choose only the topics that feel most relevant to you and your family.

How long does each webinar run?

Each webinar in the Parenting Adolescents Series runs for one hour.

Can I start with the free webinar before deciding on the paid series?

Yes. Parental Toolbox Tips is a free introductory webinar with real, bookable dates. It is designed as a place to begin if your teenager has become distant, defiant, emotional, silent or difficult to reach, and it is a helpful way to experience a live session with Amanda before considering the paid series.

What is the difference between these webinars and prerecorded courses?

These are live sessions with Amanda, not prerecorded lessons. The aim is real conversation and real questions, not just information, so you can understand adolescence more clearly and begin to respond differently at home.
